DMV gave me 30 days to complete the inspection. Why did you tow my vehicle?

DMV gave you 30 days for your emissions inspection. Safety inspection is required by Virginia State Law on any vehicle with VA tags. There’s no grace period.

My tags were up-to-date. Why didn’t you check with DMV?

We don’t have access to DMV records. We proceed with a visual inspection of the vehicle.
